Roxaboxen

We made our very own community today inspired by the book Roxaboxen. We discussed what a community is made up of and then put our knowledge on a map. Each group had a street in the community of Sterling Bridge, which the class voted on the name. They did a vote for their street name and added the components of a community. Each student made sure to include their business (that they had wrote about) on the street.

Look at just a few of our fabulous business owners. Don't worry about going hungry.....there is a milkshake shop (Luke's), a yogurt place (Camille's), a snow cone shop (Ella's), and two ice cream parlors (Sofia's and Hannah's)!
