The Day it Rained Bunuelos!

The day it really did rain in Florida, it decided to rain bunuelos as well! We did a little readers theatre that had similarities to the story we read yesterday of "The Day it Snowed Tortillas." The kiddos learned what the Spanish bunuelo is and that it can be found as a special treat in many places such as Argentina, Columbia, Guatemala, and Puerto Rico. They also enjoyed learning Spanish words and phrases.
